Identity · the wordmark is the mark
Newsreader caps, wide tracking, ink on paper. No monogram, no tile, no gloss — the name carries the identity, and a graphite K carries the app.
01 — Wordmark
The name is the mark.
“KIM LAM” is set in Newsreader 500, all caps, tracked at 0.09 em. “INVESTMENT” sits below in Inter, small, at 0.36 em. The wordmark is outlined, so it never reflows or substitutes a font. There is no symbol to explain and nothing to misread.

02 — App icon
A graphite K, not a blue tile.
The only place a container appears. Graphite #14171A, a one-pixel inner edge, the serif K in white. The favicon uses a heavier cut of the same K so it holds at 16 px.

In the dashboard sidebar and the login card the icon is drawn at 26 px. In documents, the wordmark alone is enough; the K is an app affordance.
03 — Colour
Ink, paper, one blue.
Blue is an action colour — links, focus, the one hairline in the social card. The identity itself is ink and paper. No gold, no forest, no gradient.

04 — Type
Two roles, one family each.
Newsreader belongs to the wordmark only. The product uses the system stack — SF Pro on a Mac, Segoe UI on Windows — and Inter where a fixed outline is needed. Numbers are tabular.
05 — Don'ts
What made the earlier marks look young.
These are the five things that must not come back.
06 — Motion
The wordmark does not move.
Motion belongs to the interface: 120 ms press, 180 ms hover, 320 ms entrance, 480 ms count, 700 ms chart. The logo is static; glass is a material for surfaces, not a finish for the identity.
